Purple Monster’s office is in Leamington Spa and provides a central point for our mainly field-based team. We work in the Midlands, London, nationally and internationally, with blue-chip businesses and the public sector. Engagement, Change, Connecting, Experiential, Customer Care & Creative Arts are all common words in our world and we need a permanent office-based team member to come & join us.

Main Duties
The Office Administrator will be required to support the field-based Purple Monster team of 4 permanent, plus associate staff. Main duties will include:
Managing the Company Calendar & individual diaries on Microsoft Outlook Calendar
Managing clients, suppliers, partners and associates’ information & details on Microsoft Outlook Contacts.
Using Contacts as our CRM system to produce & record communications, appointments & reminders & financial information in MS Excel
At the office in Leamington Spa, to overhaul our information, systems & processes required for the efficient operation, compliance & growth of the Company. To include recruitment & employment of permanent & freelance staff, office management systems, H&S & other legal requirements.
Internet research
Planning logistics for travel, booking transport & hotels
The role will also include writing & sending emails (MS Outlook) as directed, generating & sending mail-merge communications by email & post, filing, making calls and answering telephone enquiries.
Communication with our associates and freelance network of facilitators and clients will be part of the role, along with varied and interesting ‘other duties’ as required by the Line Manager.
Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:
•        Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•        Good Customer Service Skills, particularly on the telephone
•        Ability to connect with people & respond appropriately to a wide range of enquiries
•        IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office Calendar and Contacts, Excel, Word & Power Point
•        Organisational skills in a creative and sometimes distracting environment
•        Ability to work on own initiative when the office is empty, and as part of a team, when it is full
•        Ability to prioritise & manage multiple priorities & requests from several people
•        Confidence
•        Belief in & commitment to Purple Monster’s work & ethos

Desirable:
•        Experience in theatre and/or the arts
•        Experience in interacting with corporate clients
•        Creative skills

Hours of Work:
Generally Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm, 36.5 hours per week.
Salary:
Between £15 & £20k (negotiable depending on experience)
Probation:
This post is subject to a six month probationary period.
